Lesson Plans 10/29

What to expect for auditions:

  • Live auditions will be held during class and also during sectionals this week.
  • You will play the first 2 lines of Etude 1 and your Chromatic Scale. The etude is worth 70 and the scale is worth 30 for a total of 100 points.
  • Band students will be placed in chair order from highest to lowest score and will be assigned parts accordingly.
  • Challenges will be accepted until February 1st at which time all part assignments will remain fixed until after UIL.
  • Sectionals will begin this week and will go from 3:30pm-5pm. Mondays – Flutes, Clarinets, Percussion. Tuesdays – Sax, Low Reeds. Wednesdays – All Brass.

  • Call Time – 10am @ Stadium
  • Performance – 10:30am
  • Dismiss – 11am
  • Uniform – Wear your Caddo Gear! This will be a great opportunity to support the Education Foundation who has helped us so much! They are the ones that purchased our amazing sound system. This is a required performance, so if you have a conflict please let me know.
