What to expect for auditions:
- Live auditions will be held during class and also during sectionals this week.
- You will play the first 2 lines of Etude 1 and your Chromatic Scale. The etude is worth 70 and the scale is worth 30 for a total of 100 points.
- Band students will be placed in chair order from highest to lowest score and will be assigned parts accordingly.
- Challenges will be accepted until February 1st at which time all part assignments will remain fixed until after UIL.
- Sectionals will begin this week and will go from 3:30pm-5pm. Mondays – Flutes, Clarinets, Percussion. Tuesdays – Sax, Low Reeds. Wednesdays – All Brass.
