The coming weeks will signal a change in our focus for the band. Please plan accordingly as all rehearsals and performances are required.
- For the remainder of the fall in 1st period we will only need marching instruments on game day. The rest of the week will be concert instruments.
- We will only have one marching band rehearsal on Thursday afternoons from 3:45pm-5:15pm. This will continue until the end of football season. Please make every effort to be there as this will be our only rehearsal for the week.
- Drill team rehearsals on Thursday mornings at 7am are still in on and everyone is required to attend. This will continue until the end of football season. After drill team the band will use the time for tutoring and make up assignments.
- Live auditions for chair placement in Symphonic Band will be held on the week of October 29th. Your audition music is All Region Etude #1 and your Chromatic Scale.
- Sectionals will begin the week of October 29th and will go from 3:30pm-5pm. Mondays – Flutes, Clarinets, Percussion. Tuesdays – Sax, Low Reeds. Wednesdays – All Brass
